Hey There!!

We are The Rodriguez Roundup!

Mark and Danielle Rodriguez with our four children and exchange daughter in 2024 - Emma, Meya, AJ, Evan, and Aina.

The Rodriguez Roundup began as a dream of country life.

Mark and Danielle both grew up in suburban communities surrounding Portland, Oregon, but always felt called to something more rooted—more connected to the land. With a shared desire to raise their four children alongside animals, learning the values of hard work, responsibility, and dedication, the timing couldn’t have felt more right. In 2020, during the height of COVID, they made the leap and moved into the rolling hills of the Willamette Valley.

With Mark’s strong Scottish heritage, there was never any question about which cattle would call the Roundup home. Scottish Highlands—with their iconic coats, gentle temperaments, and hardy nature—were the perfect fit. As the fold grew and breeding began, so did a passion for sharing these absolutely gorgeous, docile, and resilient “coos” with others who appreciate them as much as we do.

Today, The Rodriguez Roundup is more than a farm. With Danielle’s artistic and creative talents and Mark’s background in education and development, our vision continues to expand. We aim to offer a multitude of opportunities and experiences that connect people to the land, the animals, and the simple beauty of country life—just as we once dreamed.
